These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ToolzHive website and all tools offered on it (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

ToolzHive offers free online tools for text, images, CSS, code, colors, social media and everyday tasks. Most tools run entirely in your browser. We may add, change or remove tools at any time without notice.

2. Who may use ToolzHive

You may use the Service if you can form a binding agreement with us and are not barred from doing so under applicable law. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

3. Free to use

The Service is free for personal and commercial use. No account is required. We may introduce optional features in the future; any additional terms will be presented to you before they apply.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything illegal, fraudulent, harmful or deceptive;
• use tools to create content that infringes someone else's rights, harasses others or impersonates a real person or organization;
• use generated test data (for example sample IBANs, passwords or placeholder text) for fraud or to deceive anyone;
• attempt to break, overload, probe or disrupt the Service or its security;
• scrape, copy or mirror the Service at scale, or access it with automated means that place an unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
• reverse engineer the Service except where the law expressly allows it; or
• send spam or abusive messages through the contact form.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to the text, images, files and other content you use with our tools ("Your Content"). Because tools run in your browser, we generally never receive Your Content. You are solely responsible for Your Content and for making sure you have the rights needed to use it.

6. Tool output

Results produced by the tools (for example converted images, formatted code or generated palettes) belong to you, to the extent they can be owned, and you may use them however you like, subject to these Terms and the rights of others.

7. Accuracy and no professional advice

We work hard to make every tool accurate, but results may contain errors. Calculators and converters (such as loan, BMI, unit or date tools) provide estimates for information only and are not financial, medical, legal or other professional advice. Always double-check results that matter, especially for security-related output such as passwords, hashes and tokens.

8. Third-party services and links

Some tools interact with third-party services such as YouTube, Vimeo or Google Fonts, and the Service may link to other websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services or websites, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.

9. Intellectual property

The ToolzHive name, logo, design, text and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding. Open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses.

10. Availability

We aim to keep ToolzHive available at all times, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. We may suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ToolzHive and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless ToolzHive and its operators from any claims, damages or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

14. Suspension

We may restrict or block access to the Service for anyone who violates these Terms or uses the Service in a way that could harm us, our users or third parties.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

16. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
